What we fix

WordPress problems we fix

Critical errors & white screens

Fatal PHP errors, the "white screen of death" and "There has been a critical error on this website", traced to the plugin, theme or update that caused them.

Hacked or blacklisted sites

Malware removed, backdoors closed, passwords and keys rotated, security hardened, and Google blacklist warnings cleared.

Plugin & theme conflicts

Elementor, WooCommerce, Yoast, ACF and page-builder clashes identified and fixed, without losing functionality.

Slow websites

Images, caching, database bloat and hosting bottlenecks fixed at the root, not hidden behind another plugin.

Locked out

Lost admin access, broken logins, password reset emails that never arrive, and user permission errors.

Database errors

"Error establishing a database connection", corrupted tables and failed restores, sorted safely.

WooCommerce problems

Broken carts, checkout errors and payment gateways that stopped taking money.

SSL & "Not secure"

Mixed content, redirect loops and certificate problems that scare visitors away.

Forms & email

Contact forms that say "sent" but nothing arrives, usually an email authentication (SPF/DKIM) issue.

Website rescue

Developer vanished? Project half-finished?

It happens more than it should: a deposit paid, a half-built site, and a developer who stopped answering. We take over abandoned or broken projects, work out what you actually have, and give you a clear plan and fixed quote to finish it properly.

  1. Free assessment. We review what exists (hosting, domain, files, database) and who controls each part.
  2. Rescue plan & fixed quote. Exactly what we'll do and what it costs, before any work starts.
  3. Fix, test, launch. We complete the work, test it thoroughly, and hand you full control of your site.

Warning signs your developer might disappear

  • Takes days to reply to messages
  • Wants full payment upfront
  • No contract, or vague terms
  • Won't show you work in progress
  • Your domain or hosting is in their name, not yours

Site down right now?

Try this first

  1. Don't panic, and don't start deleting plugins at random. Most problems are quick to fix if nothing else gets changed.
  2. Screenshot the error message, exactly as it appears.
  3. Note when it started and anything that changed: an update, a new plugin, a hosting or DNS change.
  4. Check your email for a WordPress "Your site is experiencing a technical issue" message. It often names the plugin at fault.
  5. Call 07495 384 583 or send us the details.

WordPress questions

WordPress help FAQs

How much does it cost to fix my WordPress site?

Most fixes cost £50–£150. A simple plugin conflict is typically around £50; a hacked-site clean-up is typically around £150. We always agree a fixed price before starting.

Do I have to host with you?

No. We fix WordPress sites on any host. If your hosting is part of the problem, we'll tell you honestly and can move you for free.

Do you work outside Oxfordshire?

Yes. We're based in Banbury, but almost all WordPress work is done remotely, so we help businesses across the UK.

My developer disappeared. Can you take over?

Yes. We start with a free assessment of what exists and who controls the domain, hosting and files, then give you a fixed quote to finish or fix the site.

How do I stop my site breaking again?

Keep WordPress, plugins and themes updated, keep working backups, and remove plugins you don't use. Our WordPress Care Package (£15/month) does all of that for you.

Something broken, slow or worrying you?

Tell us what's happening in your own words. You'll hear back from the person who'll actually fix it.
