Is a VPS right for you?
When to move from shared hosting to a VPS
A VPS gives you dedicated CPU and memory, so other customers' sites can't slow yours down, plus root access to install exactly what you need. It's the right step when:
- Your WooCommerce shop slows down at busy times
- You run several sites and want them on one server you control
- You need custom software, background workers or a specific PHP setup
- You're running AI automation such as OpenClaw, which needs its own secure server
Not sure? Ask us. If shared hosting is still enough, we'll say so.

VPS questions
Managed VPS FAQs
What's the difference between a VPS and shared hosting?
Shared hosting puts many websites on the same server resources. A VPS gives you your own guaranteed CPU cores, RAM and storage, plus root access, so performance is more predictable and you can configure the server yourself.
Can you set up WordPress on my VPS?
Yes. We regularly configure and troubleshoot WordPress on VPS servers, including web server, PHP, SSL and email setup.
Which VPS size do I need?
Most small business WordPress sites run well on 2–4 cores. Busy shops, several sites or AI automation may need more. Tell us what you're running and we'll recommend a size, rather than upselling you.
Something broken, slow or worrying you?
Tell us what's happening in your own words. You'll hear back from the person who'll actually fix it.
